Case: An 82-year-old female patient is referred to the Echo Lab for the evaluation of leg edema. During the exam, she mentions she hasn't eaten a single thing all day. As we begin, obtaining a clear view of the heart proves difficult. Also the diaphragm gets in the way, obstructing our windows. but wait... a look beyond the diaphragm leaves us astonished.
